Amelia's Magazine Contribution / Joan As Police Woman
Another illustration for Amelia's Mag for a brilliant interview about Joan As Police Woman's new album. You should definitely read Kat Phan's words.

My First Amelia's Magazine Contribution!
Some of my works are on Amelia's Magazine! I am so thrilled about it!
I know i am using so much exclamation marks but just can't help it :)
Along with illustrator Matilde's whose works are so marvelous and genuine, three of my works used.
The write-up is an interview with film director Henry Joost of Catfish, written by the loveliest talented writer Kat Phan. I also very much enjoyed her review of the same movie Catfish.
The funny thing is just two or three weeks before i listened an interview in BBC radio with one of the three guys who made this movie. (one of them is in it actually) So i was already a little bit familiar with the concept.
You can see the interview from here.

Happy new year to everyone!
I have a new illustration which colored with watercolor.
And an old one. Coloring with Photoshop.
Last week me and my mom went to Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera Exhibition in Pera Museum. It was fantastic. I am posting three photos but they are a bit dark. So i lighten them but for preserving the quality couldn't adjust too much. There is more in my Flickr account and also you can find photos from other exhibitions which were on display at the same time. From the other exhibitions "19th Century Russian Classics from the State Russian Museum Collection" was the one i enjoyed most.

Urban Cat and Pandas in Jail
Hi!
I decided to post an old illustration with a new one this time. This (below) urban cat is something i did a while ago. Unfortunately he is a smoker. Living in the city affect him a little. Coloring with photoshop after a pencil on paper sketch.
The one with the pandas was a sketch i posted before. Coloring with gouache. About them, there is not much to say. It is pretty obvious i think:)
Now i am playing with some plasticine. I am planning to post a new plasticine work with an old one. The one i am working on right now what you call "mixed media". It involves some illustration and plasticine. See you!

Pianist
I just finished coloring this pianist who is saying his farewell to last penguin and polar bear on earth. Used indian ink and gouache.

Street View
I finished this piece with watercolor and indian ink.
Doing the crow and the branch part felt like committing a bad habit. Like biting nails obsessively and won't be able to stop:)

Grinning Monkey
I've done this vector illustration sometime ago this year just for fun. Anyway there is this amazing blog which announces a topic every Monday and any member can submit a piece about that topic. Lucky me this week's Art Jumble topic is monkey. So here it is.

first blog, first post
Hi,
Since I intend to form a blog which is about my illustrations, I would like to start with a random sketch. A couple of weeks before I sketched on a lunch break. In fact first time I sketched it with a pencil and it looked awful to me. Next day I tried again. This time with a black pen and I kind of like it. Unfortunately I don't have the awful one. Next time I will consider that I have a blog now to post things like that :)
